In July I visited the Creation Museum and The Ark Encounter in Williamsburg Kentucky. Two of my favorite places! If you haven’t ever been, It is well worth the trip! I look forward to visiting once a year, even though it is a bit of a drive from where I live. I am amazed at the wonder of God’s creation and there is just something wonderful about being wrapped in the visible presence of the Word of God. It was on the third deck of the Ark Encounter that I found a small book “Doors of the Bible”. I loved this teaching as it explains all throughout history God wants to dwell with His people and provides protection through doorways including the eternal doorway – (Jesus) and the Cross! I will explain that later.

One thing that stands out inside the Ark, on the third deck, is the door on the side of the Ark. From the inside you can see a beam of light in the shape of the Cross cast onto the door. This is where our journey will start, as we explore doorways of the Bible.
